Next I cut all the papers to fit...
And then I adhered them using Glossy Accents really close to the edges. I prefer to use liquid adhesive for this because it keeps the paper ice and flat instead of the edges coming up. After the pieces were adhered I used my Crop-A-Dile (LOVE this thing!) to make the holes where the ring will go. Next I sanded all the edges with my Big Brother sanding tool to make them nice and smooth to prevent any paper cuts...
(Both sides are covered with
paper, just not shown.)
I used a Tim Holt Alterations Die-Tiny Tabs and Tags (Sizzix) to make a bunch of tags and tabs to use in album. Not sure which ones I will actually end up using but I now have plenty to choose from.
The paper stack comes with several cutouts, so that's what I did next.
Then I this tool to make some "buttons"...
Not sure if you can tell but the tops are glossy and raised, giving them some dimension.
Then I made some larger tags using the scraps I had left over (3x3 and 3x5). I can't stand to waste pretty paper...
The last two things I did were to color some white crocheted roses that I got from I Am Roses with Ranger Alcohol Ink and spray paint some Tim Holtz metal embellishments with silver spray paint, they used to be an antique bronze but that didn't go with my project...
I will probably end up adding a pearl to these pretty little flowers.
That's all for tonight...keep a look out for part 2 coming soon!
