Altered Picture Frame

Past week I started this altered picture frame and I finally got it done! Woohoo! I covered it with Tim Holtz paper using ModPodge and then used Gelatoes to color it up! Then I attached some flowers from Prima and some chipboard letters that I painted. Viola!

Art Journal

It has been WAY too long since I have done anything creative. So long in fact, I have misplaced my inspiration and creativity and am desperately trying to get it back. My days have been filled with lawyers and emails and appointments and everything not creative and somehow along the way I have lost my creative drive. And I miss it. A lot. So I am trying something new...art journaling. A few months ago, my oldest started one...then a good friend invited me to a class and then last week my second oldest started one. So I thought there must be something to the art journaling thing, and I should try it. I am hoping it turns out to be what I need to spur my creative side as well as let go of some emotional baggage I have been carrying around for a very long time. I plan to share some of my pages here, and others I will probably keep private. Maybe I can even inspire some of you to join this creative journey with me.
